Carol Clarke-Webster

Chairperson

She is considered the pioneer in Jamaica of one of the most popular premier ice creams in the world, manufactured as Devon House I-Scream.

As Chairperson of the Board and Director of Caribbean Cream Limited, Carol brings to the organization a wide knowledge of the industry, having established Scoops Un-Limited Limited in 1989 to manufacture Devon House I-Scream in such exotic and indigenous flavours of Jamaica, including Tamarind, Sour Soup and Naseberry.

Christopher Clarke

Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer

When Caribbean Cream Limited began operations in April, 2006 Christopher used his training in science and business to come up with a formula for Kremi ice cream that was affordable, yet rich in taste and ingredients.

A graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, he went on to gain an MBA, with specialties in both Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami.

In January, 2004, Christopher returned to Jamaica to work with his mother in the family ice cream business, before launching his own ice cream enterprise.

Dr. Matthew Clarke

Director

Dr. Matthew Clarke was appointed to the Board of Caribbean Cream Limited on April 17, 2012.

He is an orthopedic traumatology & sports medicine surgeon currently practising at Kendall Regional Medical Center, South Florida, having graduated Cum Laude with a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Michigan.

A brilliant scholar, he later received his medical degree, specialising in orthopedic surgery and successfully completed his orthopedic surgical residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, USA.

He also successfully completed sub-specialty fellowships in sports medicine and orthopedic traumatology at Georgetown University and the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center, respectively.

Mr. Mark McKenzie

Non-Executive Director

Mark McKenzie is a former Managing Director of Red Stripe during which he served as a member of Diageo’s Latin American Executive for five and a half years.

Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Gillette and Coca-Cola across the Caribbean and Latin America, primarily in sales, marketing, strategy and general management. He has always served the community through volunteerism having sat on the Board of the St. Patrick’s Foundation for six years, three of which as Chairman. His social responsibility continues as a consultant and volunteer with United Way Worldwide (the world’s largest privately funded non-profit) with the aim of helping the organisation to expand operations in the Caribbean.

Mr. Michael Vaccianna

Non-Executive Director

Appointed non-executive Director on December 16, 2013, Michael Vaccianna is a member of the Audit Committee of Caribbean Cream Limited. He is also a Senior Partner in the law firm Vaccianna & Whittingham.

Michael has over 33 years’ standing at the Jamaican Bar and holds an LL.B. degree from the University of the West Indies and a Certificate in Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica.

Michael has had extensive experience in such areas as project development and financing; mining and energy; mergers and acquisitions; banking and finance and international trade. He is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association and an associate member of the American Bar Association.

Michael also serves as a Commissioner of the Financial Services Commission and is Chairman of the Board of Management of Kingston College.

Mr. Wayne Wray

Non-Executive Director & Mentor

The company’s non-executive Director and Mentor, Wayne Wray, was appointed to the Board of Directors on April 17, 2012.

He has experience and expertise in executive leadership and management positions in the field of finance and banking.

Wayne is a past Chairman of Jamaica Institute of Bankers, as well as the Caribbean Association of Banks. Licensed by the Financial Services Commission as an investment advisor, Wayne is the principal director of Wiltshire Consulting & Advisory Limited. He is also Managing Director and principal shareholder of 365 Retail Limited, an authorised dealer retailing and distributing petroleum and lubricants for Total Jamaica Limited. Wayne serves on the boards of several community development organisations as his contribution to nation building.
